Whio are one of New Zealand’s most endangered native birds. To make it in the wild, whio have to learn to be tough in the face of some big challenges.

Whio Boot Camp was made for the Department of Conservation for their Whio Forever campaign to gain awareness with school children.

In the two weeks the game has been live, over 5000 individuals have attempted the game, which is fantastic. That’s already had a 59 per cent increase in players compared to the whole period we ran the ‘Find a Whio’ game last year.
